Teaching Approach
My teaching approach is grounded in encouragement, patience, and a deep understanding of music. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel confident exploring their abilities and developing their own musical voice. With years of experience, a strong academic and performance background, and a genuine passion for sharing music, I guide each student thoughtfully and intelligently. I focus on building both technique and musicality, ensuring that learning the piano is challenging, rewarding, and always enjoyable.
FAQ
Yes — having a piano at home is essential for regular practice and progress. I’m particular about quality, so while a digital or electric piano can work, it should feel and respond as close to an acoustic piano as possible. This ensures you develop proper technique, tone awareness, and musicality.
I understand that schedules can change from time to time. If you need to miss a lesson, just let me know in advance and I’ll do my best to arrange a makeup when possible. Please note that your tuition reserves your regular weekly time, so missed lessons aren’t discounted or refunded.
I encourage you to explore the music you love and will help you work on pieces that inspire you. At the same time, we will work on certain foundational works to build strong technique and musical understanding—these balance personal choice with essential repertoire.
